We have created this accessibility guide to accurately describe the facilities and services we offer all our visitors. It does not contain personal opinions as to the sites’ suitability for those with access needs.

	The venue has its own carpark with 14 spaces and 1 allocated disabled parking space
	The approach/circulation is step-free. The ground is gravel and grass which may be uneven or hazardous underfoot
	There is signage using international symbols at the museum reception area to direct and assist users
	The site contains staircases with no lifts to overcome them
	There is a ramp access to the café area and toilets
	Fully accessible unisex toilet available with maneuvering space of 150cm x 150cm
	Standard toilets have step-free access
	Baby change facilities are available, but at standard height
	Some seating/benches are available across the site
	Doors may be manual and opening widths are a minimum of 80cm
	Assisted listening/hearing loop available at reception and in the exhibition space
	Lighting levels may be dim in some areas
	Background noise/music is kept to a minimum
	It is generally a quiet site with plenty of tranquil outdoor spaces
