Do children aged under 6 need to be on my Membership?
No! All children aged under 6 years old get automatic free access to all the Jersey Heritage sites. Please note that once the child reaches the age of 6 then they must be added to your Membership in order to gain entry to the sites.
When will I get my free guest passes?
Your first set of free guest passes are sent out when you join Jersey Heritage as a new Member in your welcome pack; these passes will have an expiry date on them. Then, each year just before the season starts in March, you will receive an event calendar and your next set of free guest passes, which are valid for a year.
Only the primary Member receives the guest passes, as the cost of joint or family Membership is a discounted price.
Does my Membership expire if I join by Direct Debit?
Direct Debit payments are taken monthly and your Membership does not expire. If you wish to cancel your Membership you can do this at any time by emailing the team at members@jerseyheritage.org
There is a 12 month minimum term before cancellation for Direct Debit Membership subscriptions.
Do you send out new Membership cards (key fobs) each year?
No, we don’t send out new fobs each year. Keep your key fob with you it is valid for as long as you are a Member.
Can I buy a normal Membership for our company?
Our personal Membership is linked to a named person, so a company cannot buy a Membership to pass around their staff.
What happens if I lose or damage my Membership card (key fob)?
New fobs cost £5 and we only send new ones if existing ones are damaged. You can complete a form at any site pay the £5 replacement fee, you will be issued with a temporary card until the Membership team send you a new fob(s) in the post. The £5 charge is not per person, the charge covers one key fob or enough for the whole family (based on your Membership).

How will I know about events, activities and exhibitions going on at Jersey Heritage?
The easiest way to keep up to date is through our bimonthly email newsletter. We like to reduce paper printing as much as possible, so we prefer to email you with updates and send just you printed information a couple of times per year.
I want to join your online archive, where do I do that?
Annual subscription to the Jersey Heritage Archives and Collections Online Catalogue (ACO) provides access to millions of pages of digital documents and photographs from our collections. Access is available for £40 per year, or just £30 per year if you are a fully paid up Member of Jersey Heritage or the Channel Islands Family History Society. Learn more and subscribe here.
