Discover the Island's best stories for FREE with some creative family fun our Discovery Day events bring the best of storytelling, arts and crafts, trails and dressing up. Discovery days are perfect fun for families with children under 10 years old. All children must be accompanied by a helpful adult.

Discover Landscapes /Dêmuchiz Les Paysages / Saturday, 29 March / 10am - 3pm/ Frances Le Sueur Centre

Join us at Frances Le Sueur Centre for our FREE Discovery Day in partnership with the aspiring Jersey Island Geopark and Mourant. Enjoy nature walks, foraging, natural movement skills, crafts, and landscape drawing. Learn about Jersey National Park (a Geopark Partner) and St Ouen's Bay through engaging sessions. Follow the Discovery Day trail, participate in woodland activities, and immerse yourself in a fun-filled day connecting with nature. Meet our flower experts, embark on a captivating flower trail, and try your hand at creating beautiful flower crafts. Whether you're a budding botanist or simply love nature, don’t miss out on this blooming wonderful day with all the family!

Discover Beaches / Dêmuchiz Les Grèves / Saturday, 6 September / 11am - 4pm/ Ouaisné

Join us at Ouaisné Bay for our exciting Discovery Day in partnership with the aspiring Jersey Island Geopark and Mourant. Dive into a day full of FREE activities and uncover the secrets of Jersey's stunning coastline. Learn how the tides shape our shores and reveal stories of ancient climate change, human migration, and archaeology. Explore the fascinating history of La Cotte de St Brelade, home to Neanderthals and their hunts for woolly mammoth. Get creative with sandcastle building and shell crafts, participate in a community beach clean, and chat with the RNLI about sea safety and swimming tips. Don't miss this fun-filled, educational adventure! Bring a sunhat, sun lotion and plenty of water. Plastic-free picnics welcome, but please no BBQs.

Discover Crafty Christmas /Dêmuchiz La Nivell'lie d'Noué / Saturday, 13 December / 10am - 4pm/ Jersey Museum

Kick off your Christmas with a visit to Jersey Museum for our ‘Crafty Christmas’ Discovery Day in partnership with Mourant! Join us and make fantastic cards, decorations and gifts for the holidays.
