International Women’s Day is not far away and we’re celebrating this year with a special screening of Agnès Varda’s ‘Une Chante, L’Autre Pas’ (One Sings, the Other Doesn’t)

Join us in the AV Theatre at Jersey Museum on Saturday, 8 March at 6.30pm to watch this iconic feminist film that was created in 1977.

Varda, a pioneering filmmaker and a key figure of the French New Wave, reshaped cinema with her bold storytelling and feminist vision. Her work continues to inspire generations, and ‘Une Chante, L’Autre Pas’ stands as a milestone in feminist cinema, celebrating female friendship, autonomy, and the fight for reproductive rights with vibrant visuals and powerful storytelling.
