This new FREE exhibition examines how Jersey artists have treated light as a subject in their work. The clarity of light in Jersey – the sunniest place in the British Isles – has long been recognised by visiting and local artists as a unique and attractive feature of the Island. The exhibition examines artists' responses to Jersey's natural light through the lens of light as a subject, as a contemplation and as a tool to market a vision of Jersey. Visitors will have the opportunity to see artworks from the Jersey Heritage collection that have not been on display for a number of years.
